RCAT and CDC to join efforts to achieve Independence

The National Executive of Reagrupament Independentista (RCAT) has approved a proposal by which RCAT becomes associate with Convergència Democratica de Catalunya (CDC). This proposal must be ratified by the RCAT´s National Assembly, to be held in the city of Vic (Osona).
The agreement states that RCAT and CDC mutually recognize their will to go ahead with a national transition process that will culminate in the achievement of an independent state for Catalonia and agree to put the means to work together. It will be valid as long as the two parties remain committed to their proposed policy to provide Catalonia with its own state and to achieve this goal.
RCAT as a political party will concur to general elections, ie , non- local, with CDC and territorial and sectorial groups of both organisations will actively collaborate in the initiatives undertaken .
RCAT member´s in CDC electoral lists will be decided in a one by one basis.
