The National Executive of Reagrupament Independentista (RCAT) has approved a proposal by which RCAT becomes associate with Convergència Democratica de Catalunya  (CDC). This proposal must be ratified by the RCAT´s National Assembly, to be held in the city of Vic (Osona).

It will be valid as long as the two parties remain committed to their proposed policy to provide Catalonia with its own state and to achieve this goal.

RCAT as a political party will concur to  general elections, ie , non- local, with CDC and territorial and sectorial groups of both organisations will actively collaborate in the initiatives undertaken .
