Spanish ultras, like their government, against EU position about Kosovo
Spanish ultras supporting Real Madrid squad, show a banner that says Kosovo is Serbia, during Spain Final Cup match. Not surprisingly, this support is the same that Spanish Government gives, even though he tries to appear as a moderate government. Only five current EU member states have not yet recognized Kosovo as an independent state: Spain, Slovakia, Romania, Greece and Chipre. Recently an European Parliament resolution urged Spanish government to change its opposition against Kosovo Independence.
Far from the official Madrid rhetoric, this opposition shows the Spanish state extreme fragility and weakness vis a vis Catalonia’s full committment to Independence. They are aware that Catalonia Independence roadmap is deeply rooted it will be executed with no hesitation.
