A number of members and supporters filled up completely the HQ main hall.

Dr. Joan Carretero, RCAT President, and others members of the National Executive, also attended to the event. In a speech, Dr. Carretero congratulated for the association’s resilience and insisted on the need for harder than ever work to achieve RCAT goal, that is Catalonia´s Independence, as independence is the only way out from the hard crisis situation. He also stated that it is impossible to prosper in a country with limited changes and willing for incardination into the spanish framework, as still Catalonia´s main party leaders insist upon.

Finally, RCAT President also praised for the voluntary work of several people who spent most of their free time to refit the new HQ in Barcelona.

The office has a meeting hall designed to celebrate different kinds of activities, such as conferences, round tables, chats or Press Conferences. Besides it has two meeting rooms, one of them hosts the National Executive meetings when held in Barcelona, and an office room.

Even previously to its official inauguration, the HQ hosted a number of activities, both internal and public. A trend that will continue in the coming weeks. Precisely, on Monday, 16th, took place a political debate (above picture) with RCAT vicepresident, Ms. Ruth Carandell, and Mr. Alfred Bosch, member of the spanish parliament, elected in a list supported by RCAT.
